Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us:

• Contact information — name, phone number, and email address submitted through our booking, contact, or driver application forms.
• Trip details — pickup address, destination, appointment date and time, and any special needs you describe (wheelchair, ambulatory, etc.).
• Driver application data — license type, work experience, and availability submitted through the driver application form.
• Communications — records of calls, texts, or emails you send us.

We do not use analytics tools, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. We do not collect any technical data about your browsing automatically.

How we use your information

• To schedule and coordinate your transportation
• To confirm bookings and send trip reminders
• To respond to inquiries and support requests
• To review and process driver applications
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

How we share your information

We share information only as necessary to operate our services:

• Medical Answering Services (MAS) — New York State's Medicaid transportation broker. If your trip is covered by Medicaid, trip details are shared with MAS to process authorization.
• Formspree — our form processing provider. Form submissions are transmitted to Formspree servers and forwarded to us by email. See Formspree's privacy policy.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, staff, or the public.

Data retention

We retain trip and contact records for up to 7 years as required for business, tax, and insurance purposes. Driver application data is retained for 2 years. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).

Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies of any kind. We use browser localStorage solely to remember your accessibility preferences (theme, text size, contrast). These values never leave your device and are not transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Children's privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time

Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted to and from our website. Form data is transmitted over encrypted connections to Formspree. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We may update this policy periodically. We will post the revised date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
