Most trips stay within Long Island. Recurring patients mean familiar routes, predictable hours, and relationships you build over time.
Requirements
What we look for
We hire for reliability, care, and professionalism. If you take pride in your driving and understand that passengers are counting on you, we want to talk.
Required
- ✓ Clean driving record — no major violations, no DUI/DWI history
- ✓ NYS Class E license — valid New York State for-hire vehicle license
- ✓ Reliability and punctuality — patients depend on you showing up on time, every time
- ✓ Clear background check
A plus — not required
- + Nassau or Suffolk TLC License — Taxi & Limousine Commission licensing for Long Island
- + Prior NEMT experience — familiarity with patient assistance, wheelchair securement, and medical transport protocols
- + CPR / First Aid certification
- + Bilingual (Spanish/English) — a significant plus given Long Island's patient population

Hours
6 AM – 6 PM
Daily service window. Shift times vary by route.
Coverage area
Long Island
Suffolk and Nassau Counties. Occasional NYC specialty center runs.
Vehicle
Company or your own
Some routes use company vehicles. Own-vehicle arrangements available.
Training
Provided
Patient assist, wheelchair securement, and NEMT protocol training on hire.
